OUR TRIP TO DENMARK

On the 19th March I went to Denmark with people from Commenius group. The road was very long and I was tired when we arrived at the place. We were too early so the Danish people showed us an marine museum aquarium in Kerteminde. After this we went to their school in Nymarkskolen where the headmaster greeted us and showed us the school.

Later, we met a family with whom we spent the next week. My partner’s name was Lia and she was 15 years old. She had two younger brothers. Hers family was very nice to me.

On Tuesday we attended lessons at school. Their form of education surprised me because it's different than in our Polish school. It was an interesting experience and I could met other people from France, Italy and Germany.

After school the Danish people organized a sports day. It was very funny and we could play volleyball, mini golf and see Kerteminde. In the evening we presented information about our countries and we could eat international food from Italy, France, Denmark and Germany.

In Odense we visited H. CH. Andersen Museum and National Park where we played traditional Polish teenage games. It was the best event during the week because everyone could make friends and spend nice time together.

On Wednesday afternoon, Lia and me went bowling. There together with herfriends and Asia we had a chance to try bowling for the first time. This day and the entire trip will remain in my memory forever.

This trip and the possibility of meeting these people was a very good test of language skills, and finding myself in the different culture. This exchangeallowed me to get to know Denmark and was an incredible adventure and nowI can’t wait to see all the participants in Poland.
